Ira Distribution Tax Do I Get A Tax Refund From An IRA Distribution Received Back In 2005?

Do I get a tax refund from an IRA distribution received back in 2005? - ira distribution tax

In 2005, I received a distribution from an IRA. The IRA has been my mother and she died in 2005. The money was anywhere from 16 to 17,000. I have not filed a tax return in 2005. I want to do as soon as possible, and I am curious as to whether they expect a refund of the money? Thank you!

Unfortunately, you do not receive reimbursement for the adoption of a distribution from an IRA. What happens is subject to tax on the distribution, because the money is in an IRA in a state of deferred taxes until further notice.

If you are not to withhold tax when their profits, they are obliged to declare and pay when you filed your tax return for the current year. The Bank is also necessary to the transaction to the IRS report, I'm sure they did.

In your case I would ask for tax advice. Since the IRS is usually two years behind, may the next one to two years to be reviewed.
